According to a credible leaker with a solid track record, Sgo Light, a sequel project for Death March has officially been confirmed to be in development. While we are still awaiting an official confirmation from the anime production team, this exciting news comes from a magazine leak that states the sequel television anime is currently in production.

The 18th volume of I Amumu’s manga adaptation, which will feature this announcement, is set to ship on December 9, 2024. Based on the wording of the leak, it seems safe to assume that this sequel will be in the form of a Season 2, rather than a movie or OVA. A TV series continuation makes sense given the structure of the story and current anime industry trends.

What to Expect From Season 2 of Death March

If this sequel follows the typical production timeline, we can expect an official announcement — possibly including a trailer or key visual — within the next few months.
